Overview DecisionPoint seeks a

Creative Content SME

to serve as the senior expert responsible for guiding and delivering world‑class creative products across a large federal and DoD‑aligned mission environment. This role provides high‑level design leadership, hands‑on creative direction, and technical oversight across multimedia, graphics, video, storytelling, and visual communications.

This position is fully remote.

Duties & Responsibilities The Creative Content SME will:

Serve as the senior creative authority for the program, providing vision, direction, and quality oversight across all creative disciplines.

Develop and enforce visual identity standards, ensuring consistency across digital, print, video, and experiential content.

Provide hands‑on creative direction for campaigns, graphics, animations, multimedia storytelling, and high‑profile communication products.

Guide the design and review of complex creative outputs including brand assets, multimedia packages, templates, and high‑impact presentations.

Ensure all creative work aligns with accessibility standards (Section 508/WCAG), federal guidelines, and organizational quality requirements.

Collaborate with UX, content, data, and digital teams to ensure creative solutions support user experience and mission outcomes.

Mentor designers, videographers, editors, and multimedia staff to elevate overall creative performance.

Lead creative reviews, provide constructive direction, and approve final deliverables.

Support rapid‑turn content development for high‑visibility initiatives.

Maintain a forward‑looking perspective on design trends, tools, and immersive technologies applicable to federal communications.

Qualifications Clearance Requirement Candidate must possess a Tier 2 Moderate Risk Public Trust (from any federal agency) or an active Secret clearance or higher.

Education (Required) BA/BS in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, Film, Creative Direction, or a related field.

Experience (Required)

Minimum 12 years of experience in creative leadership, multimedia production, visual communications, art direction, or related fields.

Demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality creative work for complex organizations or public‑facing programs.

Experience guiding multidisciplinary creative teams and providing expert‑level design direction.

Technical Knowledge (Required)

Mastery of design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere).

Strong knowledge of multimedia production workflows and creative asset management.

Deep understanding of branding, accessibility, layout, typography, and visual storytelling.

Experience developing creative standards, templates, and repeatable design systems.

Technical Knowledge (Preferred)

Experience supporting federal, DoD, or large‑scale communications programs.

Familiarity with immersive technologies (AR/VR), motion graphics, and high‑end multimedia production.

Skills
