Position Summary We are seeking a passionate marketing professional to contribute to strategic pursuits and client capture plans. This role focuses on proposal development, content creation, and collaborative engagement across project teams.
Responsibilities
Work with project teams to develop strategies for pursuits, client capture plans, and go/no-go processes.
Support and lead proposal development, managing the process from analysis to delivery.
Create RFP checklists and outlines based on requirements.
Develop internal schedules and help team members stay on track.
Draft staff descriptions, resumes, project descriptions, and firm information.
Complete form submissions and maintain documentation.
Compose strategic content such as win themes and value propositions.
Design and layout proposals using InDesign and Word.
Collaborate with internal staff and partners on interview presentations.
Review final marketing materials, including editing and proofreading.
Create simple graphics (organizational charts, schedules, flow charts, etc.).
Maintain marketing materials (resumes, project descriptions, etc.).
Update the Deltek Vantagepoint database with staff and project data.
Participate in office and regional marketing and business development meetings and discussions.
Communicate with the marketing team regarding proposal workload, marketing materials, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
Strong writing skills and the ability to convey a compelling story for each pursuit.
Highly organized, analytical, deadline-driven, and demonstrates exceptional follow-through.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Client-focused (both internal and external).
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (English, marketing, communications, technical editing, writing, or similar).
Minimum of two years experience producing custom proposals for public agencies.
Experience in the A/E/C industry.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint or equivalent software.
Compensation And Benefits
Base salary range: $65,000–$90,000, plus employer-funded 401(k) retirement contribution (no match, no vesting).
