Responsibilities
Apply Instructional Design principles and standards to assess learner needs and advance the experience of Epic learners. Design and implement new job‑relevant curricula, educational materials, and assessment tools for Epic users.
Review post‑class survey data, implementing improvements in curricula development and delivery, auditing classes for compliance with curricula and other Presbyterian standards (for example, presentations which support diversity and inclusion standards, up‑to‑date Epic knowledge and skills).
Ensure educational programs and materials are current with Epic system changes. Serve as SME for Epic application as it relates to training learners. Ensure educational materials are usable by trainers for both remote and in‑person delivery.
Participate in credentialing program for trainers.
Support testing and design of new functionality and enhancements. Configure Epic training environment.
Provide application troubleshooting support for trainers, end‑users, and functional partner teams (Clinical Informatics, PMG Informatics, IT Analysts, Clinical Education, Coding, Compliance, Risk, Revenue Cycle, Epic Security and Environments teams and operational partners).
