About the Role Award-winning design studio is seeking a talented
Senior Interior Designer
to join their prestigious
hospitality practice . They specialize in creating transformative luxury experiences across hotels, resorts, spas, and food & beverage destinations throughout the country.
As a Senior Designer, you'll lead high-profile projects from concept through completion, shaping the future of hospitality design through innovation, craft, and exceptional client service. This role is ideal for a design leader who thrives in collaborative environments and brings both creative vision and technical expertise to every project.
What You'll Do
Lead programming, space planning, and design development for luxury hospitality projects including hotels, resorts, F&B venues, and spas
Prepare design presentations, narratives, finish boards, and specification documents that balance quality with schedule and budget
Produce deliverable drawing sets including finish plans, interior elevations, schedules, furniture plans, and custom details
Provide design direction and mentorship to junior and mid-level designers
Perform QA/QC reviews and maintain design excellence across all project phases
Client & Business Development
Manage client relationships and lead presentation meetings
Participate in project pursuits and interview presentations
Contribute to marketing initiatives and business development efforts
Maintain active involvement in professional organizations (IIDA, ASID, NEWH)
Project Execution
Conduct site investigations and construction observations
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architecture, MEP, and consultants
Oversee FF&E selection, documentation, bid evaluation, and specification editing
Manage construction administration activities
Travel as needed for site visits, client meetings, and project assessments
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited program (or equivalent experience)
12+ years of luxury hospitality design experience across hotels, resorts, F&B, and spa projects
Exceptional eye for detail and innovation across diverse project types
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously at various design phases
Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring design teams
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and 3D modeling software
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to navigate complex client organizations and build consensus
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with DesignSpec and Revit
Active membership in NEWH, IIDA, or affiliated interior design organizations
Experience developing strategies that push boundaries in the luxury hospitality sector
Familiarity with current design and drawing platforms
Demonstrated ability to serve as design lead on complex, high-profile initiatives
