Assistant Video Editor
with strong Adobe Premiere Pro experience to support their post‑production team. The ideal candidate has a background in corporate, educational, marketing, interview‑style, or technical procedural video content.
Key Responsibilities
Ingest, organize, and manage large volumes of footage daily.
Assemble rough cuts and prepare timelines for editors.
Track shots accurately and take detailed notes during studio filming.
Transfer production notes into clear, organized documentation.
Work efficiently in a multi‑editor, fast‑paced production environment.
Take creative direction and implement feedback from the post‑production lead.
Use Adobe Transcription and Caption tools with a high level of proficiency.
Source and add music tracks to timelines as needed.
Record scratch audio when required.
Apply basic LUTs and perform light color work using Adobe Lumetri (preferred).
Utilize general knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut Pro.
Support localization workflows when needed.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (required).
Experience editing or supporting edits for corporate, educational, or interview‑style videos.
Highly organized, process‑oriented, and capable of working with large amounts of footage.
Comfortable collaborating within a multi‑editor production environment.
Excellent note‑taking and communication skills.
Familiarity with Adobe transcription, captions, LUTs, Lumetri, and scratch audio.
