Design Project Manager – Data Center Design Company:

Location:

United States (any location in the USA, travel up to 30% domestically).

Responsibilities

Facilitate client requirements for the design of hyperscale data centers across the United States.

Manage the design process from campus planning/basis of design through issuance of construction drawings, including creation of a shared plan for execution, oversight of construction administration services from external design teams, coordination of procurement, issuance of change orders, and communication of engineering information to vendors and suppliers.

Work with internal and external multidisciplinary teams, building strong positive relationships that produce quality work and clear communication, ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met.

Travel to project sites and client meetings as needed (anticipated up to 30% of schedule).

Ensure project deliverables meet required milestones, deadlines, and are presented in the format required by the final client.

Qualifications

10+ years of project design experience with data center designs, or large complex construction projects such as hospitals, high‑rises, laboratories, manufacturing plants, or high‑power plants.

Experience working with internal and external multidisciplinary teams, including direct collaboration with final client teams.

Experience preparing project plans, technical specifications, implementation schedules, and coordinating internal and external teams.

Knowledge of Autodesk Platforms: Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or Building Information Modelling (BIM) engineered solutions.

BA in Architecture or Engineering, or related field. Preferred licensure (PE, NCARB, RA).

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Ability to handle multiple projects with evolving priorities in a dynamic, deadline‑driven environment.

Salary $80,461 – $132,761 (actual salaries vary based on experience, education, and location).
