About the Role
As the Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you will design and execute marketing strategies that support every stage of the member journey—from onboarding and engagement to renewal and expansion. You'll collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver personalized, behavior‑based campaigns that increase product adoption, reduce churn, and grow member lifetime value.
Key Responsibilities
Lifecycle Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement lifecycle marketing campaigns across onboarding, engagement, adoption, renewal, and expansion stages for members.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Product Management, Platform Management, and Client Success teams to create persona‑driven journeys that boost adoption and satisfaction.
Campaign Development:
Build and deploy segmented email and nurture campaigns using Keap and MemberGate, tailored to member behavior, lifecycle stage, and product usage.
Behavioral Insights & Optimization:
Analyze usage patterns and engagement triggers to identify at‑risk members and implement re‑engagement strategies.
Performance & Impact:
Drive measurable improvements in feature adoption, engagement, retention, and customer lifetime value (CLTV).
Qualifications
Must have experience working with subscription‑based products
to be considered for this role.
Minimum
8 years of experience , including
5+ years in customer lifecycle or customer marketing leadership roles
(B2B SaaS, subscription solutions, training, or edtech preferred).
Proven experience in
subscription/membership‑based businesses ;
Product‑Led Growth (PLG)
experience is a major plus.
Strong data acumen with expertise in segmentation, product activation signals, and journey analytics.
Hands‑on experience with platforms such as Keap, MemberGate, and Marketo, or similar.
Deep understanding of lifecycle KPIs and campaign measurement methodologies.
Location & Hours Location: Fully Remote (Chicago, IL or Washington, DC talent preferred). Talent located in the Chicagoland or D.C. area could be considered for a potential full‑time role down the road. Hours: 25 hours per week (flex schedule).
