Job Purpose
The Dual Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for driving revenue growth and market share for both the Courtyard and Residence Inn Sugar Land Stafford properties (managed by Dimension Hospitality, LLC). This role leads all sales and marketing efforts, including developing strategic plans, managing key accounts, and implementing innovative campaigns to maximize occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with strong hospitality sales experience and a proven ability to deliver results across both hotels.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for both properties to achieve revenue goals.
Manage and grow relationships with corporate accounts, travel agencies, and group business segments.
Conduct regular sales calls, site visits, and presentations to secure new business.
Marketing Strategy
Create and implement marketing plans that align with brand standards and drive awareness in local and regional markets.
Oversee digital marketing initiatives, social media presence, and promotional campaigns.
Collaborate with Marriott brand teams to leverage marketing resources and programs.
Revenue Management
Partner with revenue management teams to optimize pricing strategies and inventory distribution.
Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and demand forecasts to adjust strategies proactively.
Team Development
Lead and mentor the sales team across both properties, fostering a culture of accountability and success.
Provide training and support to ensure consistent delivery of brand standards and exceptional customer service.
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare and present monthly sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to ownership and management.
Monitor ROI on marketing initiatives and adjust tactics as needed.
Job Skills
Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and familiarity with brand-specific property management systems.
Excellent communication, presentation, organization, time management, and listening skills.
Analytical skills for measuring business potential and value to the hotel.
Ability to interact with all levels of customers and hotel management.
Physical Requirements
Ability to speak and hear in English.
Close and distance vision.
Frequent sitting with some walking and standing.
Frequently lift/carry up to 10 lbs.
Continual use of manual dexterity, gross motor skills, bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
Working Conditions
Continually works in normal office conditions and in close proximity to others.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field (preferred).
Experience:
Minimum 3‑5 years of hotel sales leadership experience; multi‑property experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of Marriott systems and brand standards highly preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
Possess a valid driver’s license and be able to drive to customer appointments.
