Affiliate Marketing, Vice President

The VP of Affiliate Marketing will serve as the External Affiliates Acquisitions Strategy Lead responsible for developing the affiliate and lead aggregator acquisitions strategy for Branded and Co‑Brand Cards and potentially other verticals. The marketer will have a primary focus on identifying new opportunities and partners across the evolving digital acquisitions landscape, developing new aggregator channel capabilities, leading special projects and product launches, establishing audience and targeting strategies, and communicating results to senior leadership and cross‑functional partners. All this must be accomplished with a hyper focus on quality control, accuracy, and on‑time flawless execution. Responsibilities

Lead the development of Affiliate / Aggregator Channel acquisitions strategies across new‑to‑channel products and verticals. Oversee channel capability development efforts including personalized offers, pre‑qualified offers, third‑party data integration, etc. Support management and prioritization of workload across multi‑person internal and agency teams. Drive channel acquisitions growth through understanding the competitive landscape, optimizing existing channel performance, and identifying new messaging, targeting, or capability opportunities. Contribute to the test & learn roadmap for the Affiliate Channel, with a focus on enhanced targeting and modeling, creative and offer optimization, and audience expansion. Oversee end‑to‑end campaign management process across marketing campaigns from campaign setup to deployment to reporting & auditing, with an extreme focus on detail and flawless execution. Collaborate with business partners to identify efficiencies and improve effectiveness in our acquisition channels through innovations in strategy, targeting, process and new capabilities. Partner with internal stakeholders and business planning teams on reporting, tracking and forecasting to help evaluate program performance, aiding in the development of future strategies. Apply critical thinking skills to identify and size new acquisition opportunities, assess customer impacts, and make new recommendations to drive business growth. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Qualifications

6–10 years of experience in the development of marketing, product or offer strategy, and/or actively managing channel(s) to target prospects. Affiliate marketing experience strongly preferred. Experience in project management for marketing campaigns is essential. Innovation experience originating new marketing channels, product launches, or complex projects. Familiarity with basic reporting, credit card P&L models, and fundamental analytic tactics. Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills. Strong proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint with an aptitude to quickly learn new systems, platforms and software. Financial services industry experience preferred. Education

Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred. Leadership Competencies

Excellent interpersonal, listening, relationship building and negotiations skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and drive solutions to complex problems.
