About the Role We’re seeking a visionary Senior Director, Creative to lead Zenni’s creative organization through its next chapter of brand evolution and growth. This senior role requires a transformative, highly strategic leader who can shape, elevate, and scale our brand across every touchpoint—while building a world‑class internal creative function.

Reporting to the VP, Engagement Marketing, you will oversee creative strategy, brand identity, cross‑channel execution, and the operational systems that enable breakthrough, high‑velocity creative. You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team and partner closely with product marketing, multimedia, performance, product, UX, and e‑commerce to deliver work that is not only beautiful and on‑brand, but also drives measurable business impact.

Note: while we are open to remote candidates, we have a strong preference for Los Angeles‑based folks who are able to work in a hybrid schedule out of our studio in downtown LA.

Responsibilities

Creative Vision & Brand Leadership:

Set and lead the end‑to‑end creative vision, ensuring all brand expressions ladder up to a unified, future‑forward brand strategy. Serve as a key partner to executive leadership in defining how Zenni shows up across categories, audiences, and brand moments. Drive the evolution of visual identity, voice, and brand systems.

Multi‑channel Creative Leadership:

Oversee and innovate creative across web, digital, organic social, paid media, video, packaging, retail, IRL experiences, partnerships, and brand campaigns.

Team Leadership & Organizational Design:

Lead and mentor a high‑performing creative team. Define the organizational blueprint for a best‑in‑class internal creative.

Creative Operations & Process Excellence:

Architect operational foundations for speed, quality, and scale. Standardize workflows and ensure cross‑functional cohesion.

Campaign & Content Leadership:

Lead integrated campaigns, product launches, and content storytelling that drive brand and business impact.

Cross‑Functional Partnership:

Collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Performance Marketing, E‑commerce, UX, and CRM.

Creative Integrity & Output Oversight:

Ensure Zenni shows up with a cohesive brand look and feel across all outputs.

Innovation & Culture:

Champion new creative technologies, AI‑driven processes, and test‑and‑learn approaches.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive creative leadership experience

Proven track record leading multidisciplinary creative teams

Deep expertise in digital design, brand systems, UX/UI, and storytelling

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in fast‑paced agency or high‑growth DTC brand environments is strongly preferred

Background in fashion, lifestyle, retail, or consumer goods is a plus

Experience scaling a creative team during brand transformation

Experience collaborating with in‑house production teams

Compensation In addition to other forms of compensation like perks and benefits, the estimated base salary range for this role is $210,000 - $263,000 USD (for California‑based candidates) + annual at target bonus. The final offer will be determined based on permissible, non‑discriminatory factors such as skill set, experience, geographical location, market conditions, and other organizational needs. The Company reserves the right to change, modify, or revisit the salary range for various reasons including business needs.
