Senior Wiring Designer 1 - Energy & Industrial

Responsibilities
Design, modify, and upgrade electrical systems for new and existing power plants.
Lead and work with project teams to develop relay and metering diagrams, AC and DC schematic diagrams, and point‑to‑point wiring diagrams.
Produce electrical wiring drawings, review vendor drawings, and incorporate them into the overall project design.
Accompany field walk‑downs and gather data at client facilities.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in drafting or a high school diploma with equivalent technical design experience.
10+ years of detailed wiring design experience for single‑line and relay/metering diagrams, including medium‑ and low‑voltage and 480 V systems.
Familiarity with digital control systems.
Extensive MicroStation and/or AutoCAD experience on power plant or large facility projects.
Proficiency in producing wiring diagrams and schematics for installers and electricians.
Ability to assist engineers with initial design requirements and to conceptualize plans that clearly convey wiring termination requirements.
Strong drafting and design practices knowledge and excellent communication skills with multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation Range $74,750.00 - $115,120.00
