Job Description The Senior Marketing Research Scientist will be an expert in research design, advanced analytics, and data synthesis. This role focuses on developing methodology, executing technical analysis, and delivering high‑impact findings that inform Domino’s strategy, brand positioning, and customer engagement.

Responsibilities And Duties

Act as the company’s technical authority on research design and methodology, selecting the best approach to answer strategic questions.

Apply expertise across research methodologies, including:

Quantitative: Experimental design, A/B & multivariate tests, longitudinal studies, surveys, discrete choice/conjoint, segmentation, TURF, MaxDiff, advanced regression.

Qualitative: Focus groups, in‑depth interviews, ethnographic research, diary studies, co‑creation, journey‑mapping.

Hybrid: Mixed‑method approaches, triangulation, iterative testing.

Mentor team members and business partners on methodology selection, statistical rigor, and best practices.

Write and optimize data queries to manipulate large datasets for research analysis.

Conduct advanced statistical analyses, e.g., cluster/factor analysis, regression, ANOVA, time‑series modeling, Bayesian methods.

Synthesize findings from primary & secondary research, internal databases, and syndicated sources to produce insight narratives.

Partner with analytics teams to integrate behavioral, transactional, and attitudinal data.

Lead design, execution, and analysis of research initiatives to inform strategy, marketing effectiveness, and customer experience.

Build dashboards, visualizations, and reporting solutions for rapid decision‑making.

Monitor macro trends, competitive movements, and consumer sentiment to anticipate business opportunities.

Ensure methodological rigor and bias mitigation across all research activities.

Qualifications

6+ years experience in consumer research, applied data analysis, and marketing science (restaurant/food service industries preferred).

Mastery of research methodology, experimental design, and applied statistics.

Advanced skills in data querying and manipulation of large datasets.

Proficiency with statistical software (R, Python, SPSS, SAS, or similar).

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, Psychology, Economics, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

Demonstrated ability to translate research into actionable, measurable impacts.

Strong storytelling and influence skills for senior stakeholders.

Leadership experience mentoring junior researchers.

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, shifting‑priority environment.

NLP & Text Analytics: Hugging Face, LLM‑based tooling, topic modeling libraries

Location Ann Arbor, MI (Onsite – Monday to Thursday)
