Position Overview The Lifecycle Marketing organization at LegalZoom is hiring a highly motivated, experienced, technical, and innovative Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own and optimize the customer journey. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, data-driven marketer who applies leading and emerging practices to create lifecycle marketing campaigns that influence key business drivers across acquisition, expansion, retention, and operational campaigns.
Responsibilities
Define, design, and build data-driven lifecycle programs from campaign ideation to customer acquisition, expansion, and retention, including all operational touchpoints to support customers through their journey.
Lead and manage cross-functional campaign execution, collaborating closely with Product, Product Marketing, Performance Marketing, Partner Marketing, Sales/Care, Martech, and Brand & Creative. This includes developing campaign briefs, defining audience requirements and traits, crafting campaign messaging, and owning the entire launch process.
Own end-to-end QA and performance: define success metrics, monitor them, and deliver regular readouts to go-to-market partners; drive improvements through experimentation and upstream/downstream system or process changes.
Make prioritization trade-offs and recommend ways to balance speed with quality.
Use data analytics tools such as Thoughtspot and Amplitude to analyze performance and derive insights.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field or relevant experience.
Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in lifecycle marketing.
Ability to balance priorities and negotiate scope with managers and stakeholders to meet launch goals.
Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively across departments and organization levels.
Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing successful lifecycle marketing strategies and recommending enhancements to existing programs.
Creative problem-solver who identifies opportunities, drives innovation, and adapts to changing market dynamics.
Strong project management skills to manage multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously.
Knowledge of industry best practices, trends, and emerging technologies in lifecycle marketing.
Technical ability to automate marketing platforms, including building email and SMS campaigns and artifacts.
Remote employees must confirm that their internet service provides adequate bandwidth to support all work processes.
Compensation and Benefits LegalZoom is a remote-first company and the national range for this role is $104,600 – $139,500. Actual compensation offered will depend on geographical location, work experience, education, skill level, and other factors. In addition to base salary, an annual bonus, incentive bonus, and/or restricted stock units may be offered. You will also receive a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
