The Role The
Senior Trade Marketing Manager
will drive the growth of the Tangle Teezer brand in North America. The role reports to the Head of Marketing, supporting the team’s strategic vision and executing an omnichannel trade marketing strategy across key beauty, professional, and mass retail channels in the US, Canada, and Mexico. Responsibilities include aligning with global brand messaging, meeting retail channel priorities, and supporting big‑bet activations to increase brand awareness, convert sales, and deliver results.
In this role you’ll get to:
Support strategy development and lead execution of 360° brick & mortar and digital trade marketing plans, including product launches, in‑store POS materials, merchandising, digital shelf and e‑commerce activities.
Partner with the global brand team to develop locally impactful initiatives that align with global campaign goals.
Manage and mentor a Trade Marketing Coordinator who assists with day‑to‑day execution, project management, and cross‑functional workstreams.
Collaborate with the internal sales team and key retailers to ensure end‑to‑end execution that meets priorities and sales targets.
Lead creative direction for traditional and digital marketing collateral for NA‑specific retail and consumer programs, ensuring consistency and excellence across channels.
Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to brief, align, and create effective ad creative for retail platforms and paid social campaigns.
Analyze market data to identify consumer, channel, and retailer needs, building launch plans and go‑to‑market strategies.
Develop strong relationships with retailers and external agencies for successful content and activation execution.
Partner with internal teams to create post‑activation recaps for key accounts.
Own the trade marketing calendar and provide monthly updates to stakeholders.
Clear management of KPI tracking for all key accounts.
What we are looking for in you:
5+ years of beauty brand consumer/retail marketing experience and knowledge of industry trends.
People‑management experience.
Strong experience in retail marketing, retailer relationships, paid social, and digital advertising (Amazon preferred).
Exceptional multitasking and prioritization skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data and insights into actionable plans.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with content syndication platforms preferred but not required.
A proactive, self‑motivated, collaborative team player who works cross‑functionally.
