Position Summary Technical Marketing Engineer – Nashua, NH. Amphenol’s High Speed Products Group seeks a Technical Marketing Engineer to spearhead the creation and delivery of rack‑level system mock‑ups and live demonstrations for AI/ML applications, showcasing how our copper and optical interconnect portfolio powers high‑performance infrastructure.
This role will work closely with hyperscale customers, ecosystem leaders, and internal marketing and engineering teams, translating technology innovation into compelling demonstrations that highlight Amphenol’s differentiated value. It offers an exciting opportunity for an engineer who wants to combine technical expertise with market influence, directly shaping how data centers, AI fabrics, and high‑performance computing systems are designed, deployed, and adopted worldwide.
Responsibilities
Marketing Leadership:
Design, build, and maintain rack‑level demonstration environments that showcase company products and solutions.
Partner with product management, solution architects, and field engineers to develop demonstration scenarios that highlight product value.
Support marketing campaigns, customer roadshows, and trade shows by preparing and deploying technical demo environments.
Collaborate with the events and marketing teams to ensure demos are production‑ready, reliable, and visually impactful.
Collaboration & Advocacy:
Work with industry partners, customers, and internal teams to ensure interoperability and standards alignment.
Collect and integrate customer and field feedback to continuously improve demonstration effectiveness.
Work closely with Marketing teams to prepare and release promotional materials for new standards and technology aligned with major industry events (e.g. DesignCon, OFC, OCP Summit).
Documentation and Communication:
Serve as a technical subject‑matter expert during customer‑facing events and presentations.
Contribute to technical papers and represent Amphenol at conferences.
Manage logistics of demo environments, including hardware setup, software integration, and remote monitoring.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
Prior role in Applications Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Technical Marketing.
Hands‑on experience with data center infrastructure, hardware integration, networking, and storage.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of Ethernet, PCIe, and related standards documentation.
Ability to script or automate demo environments (Python, Bash, Ansible, etc.) a plus.
Experience with interoperability testing tools and platforms.
Soft Skills:
Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate complex technology in simple, compelling ways; experience supporting trade shows or technical marketing campaigns is strongly preferred; comfort working cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Comfortability and interest to prepare technical papers and present to large audiences.
Proficiency with virtualization technologies, orchestration, and cloud‑native environments.
Certification or extensive knowledge in Ethernet, PCIe, or other relevant standards.
Location: Nashua, New Hampshire
Wage: Depends on experience. Salary range: $146,670.00 – $249,330.00 (Nashua NH)
