Our Baseline
1-3 years of work-related experience with graphic design (internships included)
Understanding and foundational knowledge of design process and necessary programs
Ability to contribute to concept development and lead production design for brands we create
Enthusiasm and creativity to lean in on everything from a new logo design to presentation design
Desire to collaborate and partner with fellow designers and brand strategists
Professional communication skills to effectively convey the intent and effect of your designs
Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator is required
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or other related field from an accredited program
Salary and benefits are commensurate with position and qualifications
Experience with motion graphics and/or environmental graphics a plus
What does this job involve?
You’ll partner with teammates to create, define, and refine big ideas and brands for the places we create. That includes the creation of:
Brand logos
Brand guidelines
Business collateral (cards and letterhead)
Marketing collateral (brochures, banners)
Exterior signage (identity, wayfinding, amenity)
Interior signage (unit numbers, front of house, utility)
Tradeshow exhibits
Presentation layouts and templates
Title blocks and presentation graphics
Mapping diagrams and plan graphics
Full time employees are eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Supplementary Insurance and Dependent Care FSA and Healthcare FSA. A portion of the premiums are paid for by Norris Design. Norris Design also pays for Basic Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability as well as a 4% company match to our employer 401k plan. Staff receives 8 paid company holidays per year and an accrual based PTO program starting at 15 days per calendar year. Plus year-round half day Fridays! The salary range for this position is $58,000 to $70,000.
