Here Is What You Will Need We are seeking an innovative CAD Designer to help us grow and deliver electrical transmission and distribution and renewable generation projects in North America.
The role will require working with a team of designers, engineers, scientists, and GIS professionals across our global network. You will lead the creation of drawings from conceptual through final design, including preparation of single‑line diagrams, general civil plans, grading, access road layouts, drainage and stormwater management plans, utility plans, erosion and sediment control plans, and alignments and profiles for linear underground and overhead energy projects.
Responsibilities Will Include
Setup projects in CAD, coordinate data sources and manage user access
Provide CAD leadership and production support for project teams, including Project Execution Plan documentation, project kick‑off meetings, file exports and client deliverable coordination.

Here’s what you’ll need
Associate’s degree or equivalent technical certification
At least 8 years’ experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and/or AutoCAD Map 3D
Advanced experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud and ProjectWise PLS‑CADD and ArcGIS a plus
Have knowledge and experience with civil design projects including using data from topographic surveys, DTMs, and performing grading, and utility layouts
Proficiency with general office software (Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams).
Ability to work independently and with various disciplines to manage multiple tasks and projects, as well as anticipate, identify, and resolve problems in a timely and positive manner.
Ideally, you will also have
Knowledge of the energy industry
Understands project workflows from concept, detailed design, estimation, bidding, and construction documentation, administration, and support
Autodesk Certified Professional.

The base salary range for this position is $75,900.00 to $99,675.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
