One-Year Full-time Artist-in-Residence Faculty Position I On-Camera Acting and Scene Study
Join the Department of Performing Arts at Emerson College. We invite applications for a one-year, full-time Artist-in-Residence faculty term position in On-Camera Acting and Scene Study for our BFA performance programs.
Appointment begins August 20, 2026 with mandatory 2-day orientation on August 20 & 21, 2026.
Essential Job Duties
Teach core courses: On Camera Acting, Advanced On Camera Acting, and Scene Study for BFA Theatre, Performance, and BFA Acting students.
May teach additional advanced acting classes based on expertise.
Mentor students and assist in admissions audition process.
Advise on Emerson Stage and support productions.
Serve on departmental and college committees and participate in shared governance.
Qualifications
MFA degree in Acting or extensive professional credits.
Experience teaching acting at the college level or in a professional studio setting.
Professional acting credits in both film/television and stage; film and television credits listed on IMDB.
Member of SAG/AFTRA.
