About the role
Boston Scientific is committed to advancing carotid therapies and driving growth in this critical business. As a Principal Marketing Manager, you will be at the center of shaping, coordinating, and executing our go-forward strategy for the Transcarotid Arterial Revascularization (TCAR) franchise, solidifying and expanding BSC's leadership in carotid treatments.
This role will require close collaboration with the entire carotid therapies marketing team and key cross‑functional partners. You will lead the execution of growth strategies, keep leadership and stakeholders aligned, drive resource decisions, and prioritize the most impactful initiatives to accelerate TCAR adoption. While primarily focused on the U.S. market, you will also partner with global expansion product managers to ensure a cohesive worldwide strategy.
This is an exciting opportunity to help define a new role, drive actionable strategic work, and shape the short and long‑term trajectory of one of the largest franchises in vascular therapies. Success will require strong marketing and commercial expertise, the ability to influence across all levels, and capability for creative problem‑solving.

Your responsibilities will include:
Serve as a strategic voice within the carotid franchise, challenging assumptions and proposing bold ideas to accelerate growth.
Develop and refine growth strategies and new investment opportunities aligned with BSC's carotid franchise objectives.
Lead through ambiguity and change, ensuring clarity of priorities and maintaining momentum in a fast‑paced setting.
Serve as the primary partner to an external consultant, translating strategic insights into actionable plans and driving the execution of those plans.
Quickly synthesize a wide range of inputs (market data, competitive intelligence, clinical insights, and internal feedback) to build a clear, actionable strategy.
Continuously monitor market shifts, competitor moves, and emerging trends to adapt strategies in real time and maintain leadership.
Drive alignment and secure buy‑in across diverse stakeholders and leadership teams in a matrixed organization.
Identify and evaluate U.S. market expansion opportunities for TCAR, focusing on market development and commercial initiatives beyond current offerings.
Collaborate closely with U.S. Carotid Product Management and commercial teams to define and execute growth initiatives.
Partner with upstream and global expansion product managers to ensure a unified global therapy strategy.
Lead coordination of cross‑functional partners, including Marketing, Clinical, Medical Education, Medical Affairs, and other functional team members to drive initiatives to deliver on strategic priorities.
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, engineering, healthcare, or related field.
7+ years of experience in global product management or strategic marketing.
Experience in developing and implementing strategic marketing plans and initiatives.
Strong clinical and business acumen with the ability to translate complex data into actionable commercial insights.
Proven experience collaborating across cross‑functional teams.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, to include some international travel.
Preferred qualifications
MBA or advanced degree.
Experience with vascular or carotid therapies and customers.
