Join the exciting world of Travel and help grow America’s largest full-service travel agency!
Do you have a passion for making a meaningful impact? This is your chance to lead the transformation of a large, complex operation by modernizing the data, reporting, and analytics environments that support hundreds of vendors, thousands of employees, and millions of members.
We support Travel and in‑branch Member Services and Sales, including DMV, Notary, and other essential services. With an ambitious goal to grow our travel business by 50%, we need a leader who can build creative, actionable solutions that uncover opportunities, boost productivity, drive sales, and elevate operational performance.
As the lead developer on our analytics team, you’ll shape the strategic direction of our data ecosystem while mentoring and developing other analysts. You’ll play a direct role in transforming how we operate and how we support one of our core business lines.
Who We Are Looking For We’re seeking a passionate, creative developer with deep technical expertise in Tableau—and you love using data to spark meaningful change.
Modernize our reporting environment by transitioning all dashboards and analytics solutions into Tableau while leveraging cloud‑based data sources (AWS).
To thrive here, you should be comfortable working in large, highly complex data environments, with strong SQL, data preparation, and business acumen. You should also be able to develop high‑impact, visually compelling solutions without relying on step‑by‑step requirements—bringing a consultant mindset that proactively identifies the right problems and the right solutions.
You’ll be expected to understand the business well enough to independently design dashboards and analyses that drive sales, revenue growth, operational efficiency, and executive decision‑making.
Key Qualities We Value
Craftsmanship: Extreme attention to detail.
Integrity: Lead by example, communicate directly, and follow through.
Communication: Ability to tailor technical and non‑technical messaging across all levels—from analysts to executives.
Inspirational: Embrace challenges as opportunities and push boundaries.
Creative Problem Solver: Unafraid to explore alternatives, break through roadblocks, and innovate.
Consultant Minded: Go beyond order‑taking—ask why, challenge assumptions, and provide the best possible recommendation for the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
Design, develop, and deploy Tableau dashboards that answer business questions, influence decisions, and solve operational challenges.
Lead the transition to a fully modernized Tableau reporting environment.
Support and mentor analysts as they grow their technical expertise in Tableau and SQL.
Drive technical excellence and ensure best practices are followed.
Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to resolve data issues and dependencies.
Promote a culture of experimentation to find innovative ways to improve performance and insights.
Oversee the full analytics development lifecycle—from requirements and design to deployment, QA, and long‑term maintenance.
Champion a team environment built on trust, communication, and inclusion.
Stay current with emerging technologies, Tableau advancements, AWS tools, and BI best practices.
Support both financial and operational reporting needs, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, staffing insights, productivity reporting, sales performance, and broader BI initiatives across multiple business lines.
Incorporate accounting and financial concepts into dashboards and reporting, while still prioritizing broader operational analytics that help optimize performance, drive sales, and improve service delivery.
What We Require
Strong experience designing and building interactive Tableau dashboards and analytical applications.
Experience developing operational and financial reports, including forecasts, pacing reports, variance analyses, and budget‑to‑actuals.
Experience working in Enterprise Data Warehouse environments.
