Responsibilities

Partner with Strategy and Media Leads to ensure all creative output aligns with defined business objectives, accounts for allowable spend, and strengthens brand health.

Set a clear vision of success for Marketing Strategy implementation and collaborate with Marketing Analytics to identify and track appropriate KPIs.

Contribute to the design of market research endeavors that guide strategy recommendations.

Ensure brand identity and messaging are consistent across all marketing touchpoints, developing and maintaining brand guidelines.

Produce briefs that communicate and amplify the GEICO master brand and product value propositions to drive sustainable profitable growth.

Develop and manage budgets for all content production, seeking to maximize the impact of investments and leverage efforts beyond defined project parameters.

Establish procedural expectations, standards, milestones, and measurable KPIs with every project plan.

Build and manage External Creative Agency partner relationships, holding them accountable against business objectives.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, consumer behavior, and emerging technologies to inform strategies and recommendations, keeping the brand innovative and competitive.

Partner with Data and Analytics leads to establish testing frameworks and iteration opportunities, tying content performance back to specific business outcomes.

Drive creative excellence by evaluating output quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Understand sources of growth, product positioning, competitive advantages, and barriers to success, applying insights purposefully.

Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of creative professionals, setting performance standards, conducting reviews, and fostering collaboration.

Work closely with marketing, product, sales, and executive teams to align creative direction with broader business objectives.

Motivate internal cross-functional teams and agency partners, driving accountability to business objectives.

Lead post-mortem discussions with stakeholders, providing summaries of learnings and actionable next steps.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (Insurance category experience a plus).

Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Strong understanding of marketing principles and ability to develop and execute strategies aligned with business objectives.

Ability to balance business savvy with strong creative sensibilities and collaborate with critical stakeholders.

Experience managing large-scale programs for both B2B and B2C activations.

Proven track record of delivering high-quality work and managing a team of creative and content professionals.

Experience working with external Creative and Media agency partners.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, making data-driven decisions.

Strong project management skills, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.

Experience with digital marketing channels, especially paid and owned social media.

Preferred Qualifications

Data-savvy and creatively balanced, collaborating with internal and external partners.

Comfortable working with external agency partners and internal marketing organization.

Understanding of content production across Broadcast, Social, Digital, and experiential mediums.

Location

Hybrid: 3 days per week in office, 2 days per week work from home in New York, NY or Chevy Chase, MD.

Up to 25% travel for productions, agency meetings, and other business travel.

Annual Salary $146,575.00 – $229,600.00
