About The Position The Golden State Warriors are looking for a Video Editor to build content and develop stories for our social media channels and various other distribution channels. Projects include activations for brand content, sponsorship, and social media. In this role, you will ensure the quality of our product matches the standards set by the Director of Production. You should have a creative mind with a passion for crafting immersive and entertaining content. This position reports to the Manager, Post‑Production.

This is a full‑time position based onsite in San Francisco, CA.

Key Responsibilities

Provide hands‑on content and production support assigned for Warriors and Chase Center’s various media platforms

Maintain the high level of quality that is expected from Warriors Studio

Collaborate on ideas with other Producers/Editors within Warriors Studio

Edit player video features, promotional spots, and other video content as directed

Identify, conceptualize and complete feature content on very tight and quick turnaround in a timely manner

Brainstorm new concepts and content franchises within the Studio team for possible new revenue streams

Help collaborate, produce and edit the all access Warriors Ground documentary show

Color correction, audio mixing and motion graphics creation

Work in collaboration with motion graphic designers for custom needs — helping to elevate the overall product

Stay up to date on new video techniques and trends within the industry as it relates to social media

Other duties as assigned

Required Experience & Skills

Bachelor’s degree, ideally in film production, or equivalent experience

2‑4 years in a professional production environment with experience in editing and motion design

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Suite (e.g., Premiere, Photoshop and After Effects)

Ability to operate digital cinema cameras for production shoots (Sony FS7, FS5, A7s Canon C100, C300) is a plus

Knowledge of various lighting techniques and setups

Knowledge of digital content videos styles, platforms and techniques, and motion graphics creation

Ability to independently handle production shoots

A passion for new technology tools and creative strategies

Ability to build positive working relationships with clients and peers at all levels within the organization

Excellent written and verbal communication, service and resolution skills

Ability to balance multiple projects in a demanding and fast‑paced work environment

Time Commitment

Ability to work weekends and overnight shifts as needed

Compensation

$34.00 – $36.00 per hour Bonus
