About the role The Principal Marketing Automation Manager drives data‑driven marketing capabilities for the Interventional Oncology & Embolization (IO&E) business. This individual translates marketing strategies into technology solutions and executes to achieve marketing objectives.

Responsibilities

Design solutions that optimize Sales Cloud functionality, its data connections with Marketing Cloud, and features within Marketing Cloud’s suite of products

Lead consultative engagements with stakeholders, assess new functionality requests, and inform leadership of strategic resourcing implications

Deliver strategic recommendations on novel approaches, dependencies, level of effort, scoping, and timing clearly articulated to all audiences

Utilize a blend of automation marketing, data administration/management, and Salesforce implementation and management experience to provide nuanced and complex recommendations to disparate stakeholders

Use expert knowledge of current Salesforce applications and product lines, including the knowledge needed to implement multiple applications in common customer scenarios

Anticipate and mitigate risk, meet and manage customer expectations, increase customer confidence, manage solution delivery and any issues that arise, and prioritize and escalates appropriately

Use deep knowledge in connecting data between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud to enable campaigns

Own the full project lifecycle of Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud implementations in an agile environment

Partner with Product Owners, Digital Marketing Strategists and Digital Producers to plan, execute, and report on campaigns utilizing Salesforce and other adjacent technologies

Create and present education and training on new marketing capabilities in Salesforce

Required qualifications

7+ years of experience in marketing/technology as a senior business analyst, consultant, or internal product owner for marketing automation platforms (Marketing Cloud)

Expert knowledge utilizing the Salesforce platform (Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud) for advanced marketing campaigns

Proficient in SQL

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field

Strong understanding of Salesforce platforms for advanced marketing campaigns, campaign reporting, data management, and sales enablement

Strong organizational and project management skills and ability to prioritize work while working on multiple projects at once

Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work well within a matrix organization and influence teams to accomplish common goals and objectives; effective relationship building skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment

Preferred qualifications

MBA or advanced degree in business or marketing

Previous medical device industry experience

Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Developer, Marketing Cloud Consultant, or similar certifications/credentials preferred

Work Mode Hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office in Maple Grove, Minnesota at least three days per week.
