We are seeking an experienced and driven Sr. Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing Team reporting to the Director of Omnichannel Marketing. The ideal candidate is a data‑driven and story‑telling individual to turn email and SMS marketing campaigns into predictable drivers of customer engagement, conversion and retention. This role will be responsible for developing and optimizing customer email journeys and collaborating with brand marketing and creative to develop compelling lifecycle campaigns that generate revenue across customer journeys.

Essential duties and responsibilities

Segmentation, Targeting & Journey Mapping:

Develop and maintain audience segmentation strategies based on customer behavior, lifecycle stage, demographics, and engagement data

Develop journey maps for lifecycle campaigns and collaborate with digital enablement to implement automated customer journeys (welcome series, nurture campaigns, retention flows, re‑engagement programs, etc.) across the provider journey – from awareness to adoption to re‑engagement

Collaborate with omnichannel and product marketing teams to align journey touchpoints with customer experience goals

Ensure compliance with data privacy and email marketing regulations (CAN‑SPAM, GDPR, etc.)

Content Planning and Execution:

Develop and oversee execution for CRM and SMS campaigns that move customers from awareness, to education, to engagement to order, with measurable impact on revenue

Collaborate with creative, omnichannel and digital enablement team members to ensure cohesive storytelling and attribution across multi‑channel touchpoints

Provide best practices, including trends and changes impacting platforms, design and content trends for CRM and SMS, while motivating the team to continue to upskill their CRM and SMS expertise

Ensure campaigns are submitted to internal Promotional Review Board in a timely manner and are compliant with legal, regulatory and medical guidelines

Performance Analysis and Optimization:

Own campaign reporting dashboards and communicate campaign ROI to leadership monthly

Create test‑and‑learn processes to continuously optimize journeys and increase conversion efficiency

Track lifecycle health, including customer activation, churn rate and re‑engagement, attributed to campaigns

You are data‑driven and creative; passionate about innovating within the inbox and connecting with customers through relevance

You are curious and continually learning, staying current on email best practices, privacy requirements and emerging trends (AI, AMP emails, etc.)

You love the start‑up mentality and are ready to build from the ground, up! As a small, agile team, you may often wear many hats and are responsible for the full execution of your programs

Office Location – Newport Beach (hybrid onsite Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)

Up to 5‑10% travel

Qualifications and Skills You’ll Bring To The Team

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, or a related field

3+ years of experience in email marketing, or digital campaign management

Proven track record of creating, launching and optimizing email and SMS campaigns

Experience developing automated journeys and segmented campaigns

Knowledge of personalization, A/B multivariate testing, and dynamic content strategies

Strong editing skills with attention to detail and brand consistency

Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (SalesForce Marketing Cloud)

Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and email best practices (deliverability, testing, analytics)

Proven ability to analyze campaign data and optimize performance based on insights

Excellent organization, communication, and project management skills

Adaptable, curious and proactive in learning new tools

Preferred Qualifications

Coursework or certification in digital marketing or email marketing

Familiar with AMP for Email and Google Analytics tools for performance tracking

Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated industry preferred (understanding of medical/legal/regulatory review processes for FDA‑regulated products)

Compensation & Total Rewards This is an Exempt position. The expected pay range for this position is $96,000 to $120,000. You are eligible for an annual bonus compensation plan, terms and conditions apply. Your actual base salary will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis and may vary based on a number of considerations including but not limited to role‑relevant knowledge and skills, experience, education, geographic location, certifications, and more.
