The team of people who make up Segal Communications are smart, strategic, and creative, and we’re looking for Bay Area‑based talent to join our team on a
part‑time basis
and grow into a full‑time staff member when such a position becomes available. Segal Communications operates on a hybrid work model and candidates for this role must be able to work from our San Francisco office.
Duties & Responsibilities
Travel to client sites around the Bay Area to capture photo & video content
Design graphics for social media using the Adobe suite (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop)
Use Photoshop, Adobe Premiere and/or Final Cut to compose, color correct, and retouch photo & video content
Create reels and other short‑form video content for social media posts
Build a library of evergreen and seasonal content
Requirements
1 - 2+ years of professional experience in photography, videography and graphic design (internship experience accepted)
Proficient in photo/video editing, graphic design and work management tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, Dropbox, and Google Workspace
Skilled at a wide range of photography styles including product, lifestyle, portrait, etc.
Great eye for content, color, and consistency
Experience on social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Reddit, etc.
Savvy about the current social media landscape and latest trends
Ability to take direction and work independently
Excellent communication and time management skills
Must have a reliable method of transportation as this role requires regular travel to client sites across the Bay Area.
