Job Purpose And Impact The Global Marketing Species Lead will develop and execute global marketing strategies and annual plans for assigned species portfolios and initiatives. This role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on execution to deliver compelling value propositions, integrated campaigns, and customer‑centric solutions that contribute to business growth through a cross‑functional and global team.
Key Accountabilities
Develop and implement global marketing strategies, annual plans, and promotional programs aligned with business objectives and financial targets.
Champion the execution of global brand strategies, acting as a guardian of the brands and a leader in their understanding and positioning.
Drive brand positioning and differentiation through integrated marketing initiatives across channels and regions.
Lead planning of global marketing initiatives such as campaigns, product launches, and programs, ensuring timely delivery and measurable impact.
Oversee and collaborate with marketing communications teams and marketing agencies on integrated campaigns, collateral, digital content, and training materials.
Partner with cross‑functional teams to analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform marketing decisions and innovation.
Develop and activate differentiated value propositions and experiences to strengthen loyalty and growth of global brands.
Build strong partnerships across global and regional teams to ensure integrated execution.
Independently manage complex projects and escalates only the most critical issues.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of six years of related work experience in global and regional marketing strategy planning and execution.
Marketing project management experience with the ability to manage projects in a matrixed, decentralized organization.
Ability to travel up to 20%.
Flexibility to work across multiple time zones.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or master’s degree in marketing or a related field.
Experience in value proposition development, digital marketing, campaign planning, and execution.
Experience in agriculture, animal nutrition and health, food/feed, or manufacturing industry.
Business‑to‑business (B2B) marketing experience, including brand management and customer experience initiatives.
Experience working with cross‑functional global teams and ability to influence others without direct authority.
Ability to present to a diverse group of individuals at all business levels.
Applicant Information The expected salary for this position is approximately $130,000 to $165,000. Compensation varies depending on factors such as location, certifications, education, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award.
