Part-Time Professor, Fashion Marketing and Management
SCAD Atlanta seeks a highly skilled part-time professor to prepare students in its fashion marketing and management program for rewarding careers. You'll also model strong leadership, foster a positive learning environment, and fulfill department duties.
Responsibilities
Model leadership and fulfill teaching assignments as determined by the contact hours listed in the Employment Agreement, including syllabus design, submission, and approval; midterm grade reviews; and availability for office hours, extra help sessions, learning opportunities, and field trips.
Conduct course and program assessments, meet grading and academic documentation requirements, and record attendance for each class per academic policies and regulations.
Support academic assessment and institutional effectiveness efforts by contributing to the university’s mission, vision, values, and strategic goals.
Attend on-ground and virtual activities such as admission events, faculty councils, exhibitions, and more.
Participate in curriculum assessment and development meetings, accreditation support, institutional effectiveness meetings, or other publicity assignments.
Qualifications Minimum qualifications:
Terminal degree in fashion or a related discipline.
Experience in or knowledge of relevant professions.
Preferred qualifications:
Teaching experience at the collegiate level.
