Description
We are seeking a visionary Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our marketing organization through our next phase of explosive growth. This executive role requires a proven leader with deep B2B SaaS experience who can scale marketing operations, build world‑class brand recognition, and drive demand generation across multiple domestic and international markets. The ideal candidate will have a track record of building and leading high‑performing marketing teams while managing complex third‑party vendor relationships.
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with aggressive growth targets and international expansion goals
- Build and scale marketing organization to support 40%+ annual growth trajectory
- Partner closely with CEO to establish thought leadership platform and executive brand presence
- Drive brand strategy and positioning for established B2B markets while expanding into new European territories
- Own marketing budget responsibility and ROI accountability across all channels and initiatives
Team & Vendor Management
- Build, lead, mentor, and scale a dynamic marketing team across multiple functions and geographies
- Manage relationships with third‑party service providers including PR agencies, event management companies, digital marketing firms, and brand consultancies
- Establish vendor selection criteria, performance metrics, and cost optimization strategies
- Build internal capabilities while strategically leveraging external expertise for specialized functions
Brand & Thought Leadership
- Elevate company brand recognition and market positioning in competitive B2B SaaS landscape
- Develop CEO persona and thought leadership strategy to establish market authority
- Create and execute comprehensive brand identity initiatives across all touchpoints
- Drive PR strategy and media relations to build industry credibility and market presence
Demand Generation & Growth Marketing
- Own end‑to‑end demand generation strategy across digital, social, events, partnership, and national and international Assisted Living (AL) channels
- Optimize marketing funnel performance and conversion rates throughout customer journeyDrive customer acquisition cost (CAC) optimization while maintaining quality and growth velocity
- Develop account‑based marketing (ABM) strategies for enterprise customer segments
Events & Partnership Marketing
- Oversee customer events, industry conferences, and partner marketing initiatives
- Develop executive networking strategy and VIP customer engagement programs
- Manage trade show presence and strategic event investments across North American and European markets
- Build strategic partnership marketing programs to accelerate growth and market penetration
Requirements
Experience & Background
- 10+ years progressive marketing leadership experience in B2B SaaS companies
- Minimum 5 years as CMO, SVP Marketing, or equivalent C‑level marketing role
- Proven track record scaling marketing organizations in high‑growth ($20M+ ARR) technology companies
- Direct experience managing marketing budgets of $5M+ annually
- Success leading marketing through international expansion, preferably North America to Europe
Core Competencies
- Expert‑level knowledge of B2B SaaS marketing fundamentals including demand generation, marketing automation, and sales alignment
- Demonstrated experience building and managing relationships with PR agencies, digital marketing firms, and event management companies
- Strong background in executive brand building and thought leadership development
- Proven ability to optimize marketing technology stack and drive data‑driven decision making
- Experience with account‑based marketing (ABM) and enterprise sales support

- Exceptional leadership and team‑building capabilities with experience managing 15+ person teams
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills with C‑level executive presence
- Strategic thinking combined with hands‑on execution ability
- Strong analytical skills with experience using marketing analytics platforms
- International business experience and cultural sensitivity for European market expansion
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA from top‑tier business school
- Experience with marketing technology platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, etc.)
- Previous experience in companies that are PE backed
- Public speaking experience and established industry network
- Fluency in additional European languages (German, French, or Spanish preferred)
- Experience in Healthcare with compliance and data privacy regulations (GDPR, etc.)
