Senior Medical Writer – Medical Communications (Boston, Hybrid)

They're looking for a
Senior Medical Writer
with expertise in
immunology and neurology
to help shape high-quality scientific and medical content across a diverse range of projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a writer who wants both scientific depth and creative challenge, within a culture that genuinely values people, curiosity, and work–life balance.
This is a
hybrid role , with
3 days per week in their Boston office .
Key Responsibilities Develop accurate, engaging, and scientifically robust content across a range of deliverables Develop a wide range of medical affairs materials, including scientific slide decks, congress and symposium content, advisory board materials, medical education resources, internal training tools, scientific narratives, and digital assets for HCP engagement. Interpret and synthesize complex clinical and scientific data within immunology and neurology to produce clear narratives for healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders. Collaborate closely with account teams, project managers, and creative leads to deliver high-quality work that meets strategic objectives. Present scientific content confidently in internal and client-facing settings. Ensure alignment with client goals, therapeutic strategy, and industry standards. Support the review and refinement of work produced by junior writers; provide mentorship where appropriate. Contribute scientific and strategic insight during brainstorming, planning, and project development discussions.
What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in a life science field required; advanced degree (MS/PhD) preferred. Strong medical writing experience within a medical communications agency environment. Experience working on
medical affairs
projects and deliverables. Solid background in
immunology and/or neurology,
experience in both is a plus. Ability to manage multiple projects, shifting priorities, and fast-paced timelines effectively. Exceptional writing, editing, and data interpretation skills. A proactive, collaborative mindset and a passion for bringing science to life.
