Position Summary
As an Instructional Designer at Empower, you play a vital role in elevating our workforce by creating impactful learning experiences that align with our mission of expanding access to quality, affordable medication. Collaborating closely with subject matter experts and department leaders, this role designs targeted training solutions, develops engaging learning materials, and continuously refines programs to empower employees, support strategic goals, and enhance performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborates with subject matter experts (SMEs) and department leaders to identify skill gaps and design targeted training solutions that support strategic goals and improve employee performance. Applies the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) model to create effective, engaging learning programs that address technical needs. Develops and maintains training materials, including manuals, job aids, online modules, and multimedia resources, ensuring they remain up-to-date and accessible to all employees. Implements assessment tools and metrics to assist with evaluation training effectiveness, including participant feedback, learning assessments, and post-training intervention performance improvements, and use this data to continuously refine and enhance the learning experience. Partners closely with trainers, SMEs, and managers to align training content with business goals, compliance requirements, and workforce needs. While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Knowledge and Skills
Proficient with ADDIE model, Articulate Storyline 360, Microsoft Office, with experience in developing training content and managing diverse courses. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail; thrives in complex environments; experience with Adobe Learn or Cornerstone Learning Management System preferred. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience as an Instructional Designer, preferably in human resources or talent development/learning and development. Bachelor's degree in instructional design, human resources development, or a related discipline required.
