Contact Center Associate I - Telemarketing
This position ensures that blood collections goals are met by calling the appropriate donors to Memorial Blood Centers donor centers and mobile blood drive operations. Hybrid: Mostly remote work, however the initial 1-2 weeks of training is in office at St. Paul location. Employees must be within traveling distance of Memorial Blood Centers St. Paul office to go to the office for required department meetings and trainings. Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm Job Responsibilities: Recruiting for Whole Blood Donations: Calls appropriate donors based on inventory needs Understands minimum requirements for donor recruitment and donor deferral guidelines Uses assertive communication to secure appointments Participates in programs to increase donor base. Includes cold calling to bring in new donors, lapsed donor and frequency campaigns Meets individual and team goals to complete a minimum number of appointments and dials per hour Determines what is appropriate donation process with each call Reminder Calls Data Entry Scheduling/Canceling and rescheduling donor appointments Maintains accurate donor files and fills out appropriate forms Must be able to navigate a computer quickly moving between web brower tabs, Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel The hourly rate for this position is $17.82/hr. Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Other: Minimum 1 year experience in telemarketing and/or customer service Customer service training experience preferred Basic computer, typing skills, and math skills Accurate oral and written communication skills Persuasive sales skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Problem solving abilities Overview Memorial Blood Centers (MBC.ORG), a division of Innovative Blood Resources (www.innovativebloodresources.org), has been saving and sustaining lives since 1948.
