Carry projects from the earliest stages of concept and development through to successful completion on time, on budget and as measured by achievement of metrics.
Responsible for making significant contributions to the strategic communication support of a business unit or significant department within a business unit.
Expected to work with a high degree of initiative and independence in anticipating client needs and developing communication solutions that further the business objectives and supporting their ensuring their successful implementation.
Specific responsibilities include strategic communication planning, message development, writing, using research and analytics to drive planning and messaging, following and improving upon established processes, strong project management, building and maintaining great relationships with clients and co-workers and communicating effectively with them, using quantifiable metrics to track performance and progress.
Responsibilities are varied and complex and include frequent cross- functional interactions.
Will work at both business unit and corporate levels.
Will interface with business unit leadership and business process owners.
In addition, this position serves as a key contributor on the M&C team in a broad range of communications activities as assigned.
Qualifications - 5 or more years relevant experience required;
experience in multiple disciplines preferred -
Bachelors degree in related field (Journalism, Communication, Marketing, Liberal Arts, Public Relations, Advertising, etc) required -
Expected to demonstrate expertise through writing and editing tests -
Must demonstrate expertise in the development and disciplined execution of strategic communication plans and using research and audience insight to develop key messages -
Demonstrated discipline in project execution -
Excellent writing, verbal, editing, presentation, and overall communication skills -
Strong dedication to customer service; the ability to remain flexible and adaptable to meet the demands of internal clients and demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for their business -
Sound business and financial acumen -
Ability to perform market research & analytics -
A talent for creative thinking and problem solving -
Ability to follow critical business processes to ensure quality and timely execution of initiatives -

We are seeking a proactive and creative individual to join our team as a Content & Communications Specialist. This role is responsible for gathering information from stakeholders and subject matter experts, documenting processes and standards, and transforming complex information into clear, engaging, and visually appealing content. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator with a keen eye for detail, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for helping teams share knowledge effectively.

Key Responsibilities
Content Development & Documentation

• Meet with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and team members to collect information and document business processes, standards, and best practices.
• Develop clear, concise, and easy-to-understand documentation that enhances the department's knowledge base.
• Tailor content to match the audience, communication goals, and objectives.
• Create and edit articles highlighting team accomplishments, initiatives, or projects, based on interviews and gathered insights.
• Apply appropriate taxonomy and metadata to organize content intuitively and ensure consistency.
• Contribute to achieving team KPIs by producing content that drives engagement, awareness, participation, and knowledge sharing.

Visual & Multimedia Content Creation
• Design professional graphics, visuals, and infographics to support documentation and articles.
• Create content for internal social media channels, digital signage, and other internal communications platforms.
• Develop short videos and visual assets to promote key messages and initiatives.
• Ensure all visuals adhere to the organization's brand, style guide, and graphic specifications.
• Experience with Figma or similar design tools is a plus.

Engagement & Collaboration
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to promote knowledge sharing and awareness of departmental initiatives.
• Coordinate and support internal events and campaigns that promote learning, engagement, and collaboration.
• Work within tools such as Jira and Confluence to manage tasks, track progress, and maintain documentation.

Organization & Execution
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing deliverables with varying timeframes.
• Demonstrate initiative and a "can-do" attitude-actively seek answers and solutions even when information is limited.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all deliverables.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience creating written and visual content for internal communications, documentation, marketing, or knowledge-sharing purposes.
• Strong writing, editing, and interviewing skills.
• Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva) and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
