Position Overview
This role is critical in supporting the company’s marketing initiatives and strategic direction, boosting brand awareness, and supporting our clients and industry Agents. The Marketing Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns that align with company goals and values.
Key responsibilities include executing and tracking marketing programs (events, social media, content marketing), creating engaging marketing collateral, supporting product launch strategies, managing vendor relationships, assisting with trade shows, updating website changes and producing marketing presentations. This role contributes to the overall success of our marketing and branding efforts.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
Experience in lighting, architecture and design, or manufacturing.
Familiarity with B2B marketing strategies and longer sales cycles
Experience supporting product marketing or product launch campaigns
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) or similar tools
Experience with marketing automation platforms
Understanding of marketing metrics, SEO best practices, and basic keyword research
Experience planning/coordinating trade shows, webinars, or industry events
Strong analytical skills, including Google Analytics, CRM dashboards, or reporting tools
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset

Internal and External Relationships
Internal : Vode/LMPG partners and administration; teams involved in product development, including marketing, product management, engineering, and design; sales and customer service; operations and business systems.
External : Vode market partners, including sales agencies, lighting designers, architects, and specifiers; vendors and consultants; service, support, and implementation teams.
Key Responsibilities
Execute marketing initiatives across events, social media, and content marketing programs
Coordinate marketing events: logistics, registrations, vendor coordination, itineraries, and giveaways
Assist on-site with hosting and coordination during factory visits
Support email marketing campaigns, including scheduling, testing, and customer database management
Develop and maintain social media and public relations efforts
Manage multiple projects to ensure timely delivery and adherence to deadlines
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas
Provide input on design strategies to improve project quality
Stay current with marketing and design trends, tools, and technology
Evaluate and monitor campaign performance; analyze key metrics and create reports
Manage vendor relationships for high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs
Produce and edit creative marketing presentations and collateral, and internal presentations
Maintain social media, newsletter, blog platforms, and database systems
Provide client support and coordination for customers
Conduct surveys and perform marketing analysis to understand customer needs
Manage marketing inventory and file organization systems
Support sales staff with training, trade shows, online seminars, etc.
Collaborate on creative product launch strategies
Work with LMPG Web Services and the internal Marketing team to manage the Vode.com XMS content platform; develop and launch web pages as needed
Physical Requirements
The role requires the ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear regularly. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds, crouching, stooping, and reaching may be required. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Noise levels are typically moderate. Additional Information
This is a full-time, salaried/exempt position. Standard hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. PST. Early mornings, evenings, or weekends may be required.
