The Prime Video Advertising team is at the forefront of revolutionizing the streaming advertising landscape. Our mission is to deliver ad tech solutions that power Prime Video’s rapidly growing advertising business. We focus on a wide range of critical areas including ad ingestion, ad delivery, client‑side ad experiences, machine‑learning‑driven optimization, ad tracking, and audience measurement. We’re responsible for advertising across video‑on‑demand (VOD), live streaming, and display ads on Prime Video, delivering value to both advertisers and viewers worldwide.
Key Job Responsibilities As a Solutions Architect, you’ll help our channel partners (for example, Paramount+, Peacock, and Fox) successfully plan and execute their advertising experiences on Prime Video.
You’ll solve complex, technical challenges so your customers can focus on their business. This includes using your knowledge to craft scalable, flexible, and resilient advertising architectures. You’ll drive or take part in technical solution discussions, diving deep into the details with customer teams.
Building relationships to understand our customers and partners is key. As a trusted technical advisor, you’ll use your interpersonal skills to influence a variety of stakeholders from technical teams to executives across Prime Video, Amazon Ads, and our channel partners. You’ll help ensure our technology decisions are aligned with their long‑term goals.
You’ll act as a thought leader in the wider community, taking part in educating, sharing best practices, presenting at events, writing white papers and blogs, and running workshops. You won’t just be part of an industry movement; you’ll be leading it.
As a customer‑obsessed advisor, you’ll also have the chance to shape the direction of our products and services by gathering feedback from customers while collaborating with our engineering and business teams.
A Day in the Life In a typical week you will meet channel partners, collaborate with them on designing and operating well‑architected solutions, earn their trust, and show them the art of the possible by educating them around the capabilities of Prime Video advertising.
Partnering with internal teams and experts, leveraging a deep knowledge of our tools and products, you’ll craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient architectures that address our customers’ business problems. As part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to continuously learn and innovate daily.
Basic Qualifications 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
5+ years of experience in the video advertising tech domain
Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience
Experience working with end‑user or developer communities
2+ years of experience partnering with leading video streaming partners in the industry
Compensation & Benefits Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200 per year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000 per year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
