Chicago Artists Coalition is hiring: Studio Supervisor - evening shift in Chicag

Position Overview MADE Chicago is seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Studio Evening Supervisor to support the daily operations of our ceramics studio. The Studio Evening Supervisor plays an important role in maintaining a welcoming and inclusive environment for students, instructors, and visitors, while ensuring the studio runs smoothly and safely. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist students, instructors, and visitors Answer phone and respond to general information emails Manage class and open studio check‑in procedures Communicate with students regarding schedules, policies, and studio updates Support instructors and staff as needed during classes and workshops Maintain and ensure a clean and organized studio environment at the end of each day Secure the studio at the end of each shift Additional Duties (May Include) Unloading kilns and organizing fired work Organizing student carts and workspaces Prepping clay and other materials for classes and workshops Qualifications Excellent communication and customer service skills 2+ years of customer service experience Proficiency in Gmail, Sheets, and Chrome Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Detail‑oriented with good organizational skills Ceramic experience or familiarity with studio tools and processes required Schedule Part‑time; Thursday evenings 7 - 10 pm and Saturdays 1:30 - 9:30 pm.
