Description
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented
Entry to Mid Level Video Editor
to join our Demo and Experience production team. This role supports the end-to-end creation of engaging video content - from rough-cut assembly through motion graphics, sound design, and final delivery - across a range of platforms. You'll collaborate closely with Product PM's, Leadership, and creative leads to craft compelling visual narratives that align with Microsoft's brand and storytelling goals.
Key Responsibilities Assemble, trim, and sequence raw footage into polished short-form and long-form videos (e.g., product explainers, customer stories, internal communications, and social content). Incorporate motion graphics, titles, lower-thirds, transitions, and audio mixing to enhance storytelling and maintain brand consistency. Capture and integrate live code demos and device footage
from Windows-based hardware - ensuring accurate representation of user interfaces, system interactions, and product experiences. Collaborate with creative leads and stakeholders to refine rough cuts, implement feedback, and deliver final videos on schedule. Integrate
Adobe After Effects
for motion design, compositing, and visual polish to elevate overall production quality. Optimize video output for multiple formats (web, social, internal channels) ensuring correct encoding, aspect ratios, and playback quality. Organize and manage project assets (footage, music, graphics), maintaining consistent file structures and version control. Stay current with evolving editing tools, techniques, motion design trends, and platform-specific video standards. Support production workflows including assisting in shoots, logging footage, pre-production coordination, or asset archiving when required. Qualifications
Required:
1-3 years of professional experience in video editing or related media production. Proficiency with
Adobe Premiere Pro
and foundational knowledge of the
Adobe Creative Cloud suite
(especially After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition). Experience editing and performing
screen or live demo captures on Windows OS and hardware devices ; strong familiarity with Windows environments, UI conventions, and system features. Comfortable working in
Windows-based editing environments
and adhering to enterprise asset management systems. Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual rhythm. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Preferred:
Experience integrating After Effects compositions into Premiere Pro workflows. Familiarity with color correction and grading tools Experience in corporate, tech, or brand storytelling environments. Interest in emerging video technologies, AI-assisted editing, or interactive media.
