In this evolved world, two currencies have become ultra-valuable in the lives of almost everyone: Health and Happiness. For the last decade, Common Good has fought to bring more of both to the world — by growing brands that are on this same mission. Right now, we’re searching for anAssociate Creative Director (Art Director) to help us accelerate the climb for these national brands we serve. Description: We are Common Good and we’re known as the Health & Happiness Agency because we work with clients that help people live bigger, be stronger, make the planet healthier, inspire adventure, bring people together or just help them find more joy. We’re searching for an Associate Creative Director (Art Director) to help shape what’s next: a modern, AI-forward creative leader with the curiosity of a maker, the polish of a storyteller and the ambition to grow into our next Creative Director. This is an opportunity to guide the visual future of a growing agency — leading breakthrough campaigns that integrate traditional craft with emerging tools, and mentoring the next generation of designers, art directors and hybrid creators. You’ll be a hands‑on leader, collaborating with writers, strategists and clients who care about making a positive impact. You’ll shape ideas that travel across mediums and emotions — from film and social to digital, experiential and what’s next. We have an amazing culture, great benefits, crazy momentum and we’re turning the creative up to 11. Come make some noise with us. What you’ll do: Lead and participate in visual concepting and design for integrated campaigns — balancing art, storytelling and strategy to drive culture and client growth. Champion AI‑integrated creative workflows, using emerging tools to accelerate ideation, exploration and execution without losing human touch. Collaborate closely with copywriters, strategists and producers to deliver high‑caliber, insight‑driven work that inspires and performs. Mentor and grow designers and art directors — nurturing creative curiosity, craftsmanship and confidence. Partner with the Creative Director to evolve our creative practice and shape a clear creative vision for 2026 and beyond. Present creative work with charisma and clarity, helping clients feel the power of great ideas. Balance hands‑on execution with leadership — from concepting campaign platforms to art directing shoots to refining the final layout. Stay curious — spotting design, technology and cultural trends that can elevate our work and our clients’ brands. What you’ll bring: Experience doing concepting, art direction and design at a high level, preferably in a creative agency (8+ years ideal). Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptually bold, visually exceptional and strategically grounded work across digital, motion, social and experiential. Passion for AI, design innovation and hybrid storytelling — and curiosity about what’s next in creative technology. Natural leadership presence and empathy — you know how to inspire others and build trust. Proven experience mentoring talent and shaping team culture. Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills, you can make clients feel the work. A collaborative, forward‑thinking mindset — you love solving problems with creative and strategic partners. Desire to grow into a Creative Director role and help shape the future of the agency. Experience directing shoots, animation and motion design. Bonus points: Hands‑on experience experimenting with AI tools (Midjourney, Firefly, Sora, Adobe Max, Runway, etc.) or generative design in your creative process. Strong grasp of integrated brand systems and campaign storytelling. A point of view on where creativity and technology meet — and the courage to test it. As a people manager: You’ll help shape a creative team that reflects the world around us — hiring with intention, championing diverse voices and creating space for everyone to thrive. As new team members come onboard, you’ll support them through thoughtful check‑ins and guidance on how to stay connected and balanced while working remotely. And through Common Good’s social impact partnerships, you’ll carve out time for your team to give back and contribute to the greater good — because doing good work means doing work that does good. Common Good is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
