Search no more: our Research and Development department is building the next wave of AI Technology for audio – working to tackle some of the industry’s most challenging hurdles. Roll up your sleeves; it is time to apply your theoretical and practical knowledge. The AI Engineer will work with an experienced team of software and firmware engineers to further develop our Q‑SYS platform. Q‑SYS is a fast growing, award‑winning, software and hardware platform built on cutting‑edge audio, video and control products. This position is hybrid, based in Boulder, CO or Costa Mesa, CA. The AI engineer will focus on computer vision, deep learning, and audio problems.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Develop world‑class AI driven solutions within the pro audio, video, control industry
- Source, evaluate, and tune AI models for video and audio
- Work with applications development team to develop appropriate interfaces
- Work with Software Quality Assurance to develop appropriate test strategies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills And Minimum Experience Required
- B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in a software development environment
- Experience sourcing, evaluating, and tuning AI models
- Experience with the features of modern python and its effective use in solving real‑world problems
- Experience with the best principles, practices, and patterns of AI infrastructure, development, and design
- Must be able to take ownership of large portions of the software from a technical perspective
- Must be self‑motivated, highly curious, and practically driven in order to achieve assigned objectives with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in several of the following areas:
- Tensorflow
- OpenVINO
- PyTorch
- Caffe
- Python
- Real time processing
Compensation
The range for this position is $120,800 to $217,400. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
