How We LEAD
°1824 is UMG’s creative solutions team focused on the connection of artists and brands directly to fans through storytelling and experiences. Our offerings include content creation, ideation, PR, A&R, creator partnerships, experiences, local and digital marketing.
°1824 is seeking a Content Creation Specialist to shoot and edit content for UMG artists, labels, and central business units. Candidate must be comfortable creating a variety of video content including music videos, short form docu-style, personality pieces, and social assets, as well as content for sizzle reels and lyric videos. Candidate must also possess excellent communication skills and be able to articulate and present concepts.
How You'll CREATE
- Create content for UMG artists and business units thoughtfully and efficiently to meet tight deadlines
- Ideate, write, and pitch treatments for requested briefs, personality pieces, and original content
- Collaborate and coordinate with the °1824 part‑time content creators (25 nationwide)
- Support °1824 productions with duties including call sheet, insurance declaration, budget management, etc.
- Organize and log footage into asset management system (Sony Ci)
- Actively participate in team meetings, discussions, and planning
- On‑site video productions, live events, and in‑studio work may require travel
Bring Your VIBE
- 2+ years freelance, entertainment industry, or similar setting is preferred
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Directing, videography, photography, and editing experience is a must
- On‑site video production experience is a must
- Proficient editor (Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar)
- Lighting, audio capture, coloring experience is a bonus
- Highly creative and collaborative with excellent communication skills
