The Remote Truss Designer is responsible for the accurate design of roof and floor trusses for single‑family, multi‑family, and commercial projects. Location: can be remote anywhere in the United States Principal Duties and Responsibilities Design metal plate‑connected wood trusses and wall panels utilizing Mitek software Review orders, layouts, and data files for accuracy Assist sales and production with design service and troubleshooting Perform other duties as required Optimize designs for maximum efficiency Qualifications Minimum high school graduate Preferred bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in related field/responsibilities Working knowledge and experience using Mitek software are preferred Working knowledge of floor and roof systems and the ability to spec out beams and hangars Compensation & Benefit Information $45,000 - $65,000 annually Bonus/Incentive Pay A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.
