Responsibilities
- Compute quantities and demonstrate awareness of their relationships.
- Review mathematical calculations, organize them to be included in the design file, and follow project standards as assigned by the Project Manager.
- Establish project goals and milestones, define responsibilities, coordinate resources, and monitor project progress.
- Design and model simple to complex roadway projects, including reconstruction and new construction, as part of the design process.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a related discipline required.
- Desire to obtain your E.I.T (and pursue a P.E. in the future).
- Experience performing design efforts and plan development for transportation projects (including roadway, traffic, hydraulics, erosion control, etc.).
- Knowledge of MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, and Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment on challenging projects.
- Willingness to be adaptable to office and field project site inspections to support project design.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (emails, project memos, reports, etc.).
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in deadline-driven environments.
