Graphic Designer (contract to hire) Job at Robert Half in Raleigh

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer with 2–3 years of professional experience to join our team onsite in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate is a strong conceptual thinker who can bring ideas to life across both digital and print formats, with some hands-on experience in video editing and content production for social media.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality visual assets including marketing materials, presentations, social media graphics, web assets, short-form videos, and print collateral
• Conceptualize and execute creative ideas that align with project briefs and brand direction
• Edit and produce short videos for social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and internal teams to deliver design solutions that support business goals
• Maintain brand consistency across all creative outputs
• Prepare production-ready files for both print and digital channels
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Receive and incorporate feedback quickly and effectively

Required Qualifications

• 2–3 years of professional graphic design experience
• Strong conceptual design skills with the ability to generate and communicate creative ideas
• Some experience with video editing/production for social media
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop; Premiere Pro or similar a plus)
• Solid understanding of layout, typography, and color theory
• Ability to work onsite in Raleigh, NC, Monday through Friday
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design and conceptual work
• Excellent communication and organization skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with presentation design (PowerPoint or similar)
• Understanding of digital design best practices
• Experience with production or pre-press workflows
