ROMTech is now looking for a Director of Public Relations to lead a high-impact PR function that shapes narrative, drives brand authority, and safeguards reputation in a fast-evolving landscape. This executive role demands strategic vision and the ability to turn stories into compelling, stakeholder-aligned messages. Responsibilities Architect and execute enterprise-wide PR strategies that amplify brand voice across earned, owned, and paid channels. Serve as chief spokesperson and trusted advisor to the C-suite on all media, stakeholder, and reputational matters. Build and nurture relationships with Tier-1 journalists, analysts, influencers, and industry gatekeepers. Oversee a lean, high-performance PR team; mentor talent and instill a culture of narrative excellence. Spearhead thought-leadership platforms—speeches, op-eds, events—that position the company as category-defining. Measure impact through sophisticated metrics (share of voice, sentiment, message pull-through) and iterate relentlessly. Partner with marketing, legal, investor relations, and product to ensure 360° message alignment. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required, advanced degree in communications, journalism, or business a plus. 12+ years in public relations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience managing direct reports12+ years in strategic communications, with 5+ in senior leadership at agency or in‑house (tech, finance, or regulated sectors preferred). Proven ability to land coverage in major news outlets. Exceptional writer and storyteller—able to distill complexity into headlines that move markets and minds. Data‑fluent; comfortable with media‑monitoring dashboards, attribution models, and ROI frameworks. Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period. Moderate noise (i.e., phone calls, online meetings, computer audio). While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
