YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Top Producer Account Manager , are to:

  • Ensure strong partnership with local Field Sales Rep (FSR) and or squads to build short- and long-term business plans to implement with TPA customers;

  • Enrich Vegetables By Bayer demand generation efforts to create mutual growth through influential account leadership and differentiation of partnership capabilities;?

  • Proactively advocate the future needs of TPA's with R&D to help influence future breeding and overall innovation pipelines;

  • Continually gathering competitive information to help strategically drive business strategies;

  • Maintain National, Regional and/or Member HQ relationships with key parties at partner companies?;

  • Orchestrate multi-year strategic business plans to deliver current year results & long-term growth for designated account?/grower(s);

  • Manage short-term and long-term market funding through agreements/contracts & tracking against business performance?;

  • Drive quarterly initiatives between the partners and Bayer to collaboratively drive business direction?;

  • Collaborate to track execution against local business plans and push pull strategies;

  • Collaborate with customer enabling teams to understand business trends and gain account support?;

  • Upskill account management practices for effective cross-portfolio integration & execution in coordination with BPLs?

  • Identify early Business Planning process that identifies key imperatives, tactics and quarterly road map that encompasses account priorities supported by Bayer strategy and initiatives;

  • Serve as key business catalyst to Customer Enabling teams at regional level for both organizations;

  • Manage, consolidate and influence forecasting, crop locks, budgets, inventory and multi-year agreements.;

  • Communicate and facilitate strategy and tactics to develop mutually beneficial business solutions;

  • Build relationships and trust with all stakeholders that foster local resolution to conflict/issues;

  • Co-create and build partner solutions to, on and beyond the farm to drive partnership success in near, mid and long term.

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree;

  • Prior business leadership experience with preference for both directly and indirectly leading teams across a variety of functions, business lines;

  • Ability to balance Bayer and customer needs to achieve mutually beneficial business results;

  • Advanced account management and business planning skill set ;

  • Prior experience in engaging customers and building partnerships with win/win relationships;

  • Ability to quickly build strategic relationships and influence behavior through building trust and being inclusive;

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence outcomes;

  • Very strong business acumen, critical thinking skills, ability to influence without authority and higher-level planning;

  • Willingness to invest in financial acumen and continue to develop skill set to drive both top and bottom-line growth;

  • Strong ability to assess business/market conditions in real time and adjust course to achieve results;

  • Willingness to travel;

  • Valid Driver's License; Driving record (MVR) will be reviewed and must meet guidelines based on the company's Risk Screening for Hiring Drivers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years' experience in sales, market development, marketing, account management, or related fields.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately between $118,941.60 - $178,412.40. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary (or salary range) is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
