About the Role

We’re seeking a Group Creative Director (GCD) to lead multiple creative teams and shape the creative vision across some of our largest and most ambitious accounts.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, culture‑driven thinker with creative instincts to build brands through social and culture. You know how to inspire Creative Directors and their teams while staying close enough to the work to guide it toward excellence. This role is both visionary and grounded — responsible for defining the creative standard, growing client trust, and elevating both the work and the people behind it.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve the creative vision for assigned accounts and disciplines.
  • Drive breakthrough ideas rooted in cultural insight, human connection, and strategic clarity.
  • Lead concept development and execution across social, digital, experiential, and integrated campaigns.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation, experimentation, and craft excellence.
  • Balance creative innovation with practical execution and client business needs.

Campaign & Brand Stewardship

  • Oversee the development of cohesive brand platforms and storytelling across multiple mediums.
  • Partner with Strategy, Production, and Account leads to build culturally resonant, insight‑driven narratives.
  • Ensure all creative work aligns with brand goals while pushing creative boundaries.
  • Maintain a high standard of taste, storytelling, and design craft across teams and outputs.

Client Partnership

  • Serve as a senior creative voice and trusted advisor to key clients.
  • Lead major client presentations, articulating the thinking and conviction behind the work.
  • Build long‑term relationships with senior stakeholders and champion creative bravery within client organizations.
  • Lead and mentor multiple Creative Directors, Copywriters, Art Directors, and Designers across teams.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and inclusivity.
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback that sharpens ideas and helps teams grow.
  • Identify, hire, and develop top creative talent while cultivating diverse perspectives.
  • Partner with leadership on new business pitches and strategic growth opportunities.
  • Help define the agency’s creative identity, standards, and positioning in the market.
  • Explore new creative techniques, technologies, and tools to enhance creative impact.
  • Stay ahead of cultural, social, and platform trends to ensure our work remains relevant and resonant.

Requirements

Experience & Expertise

  • 12+ years of creative experience, including 5+ in senior leadership (CD or above).
  • Proven success leading multi‑platform campaigns for globally recognized brands.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing world‑class work across social, digital, experiential, and traditional channels.
  • Deep understanding of social‑first and community‑driven brand building.
  • Experience managing multiple creative teams and complex, integrated projects.

Creative & Strategic Acumen

  • Conceptual thinker with strong design sensibility and storytelling instinct.
  • Deep understanding of cultural trends, audience behavior, and brand innovation.
  • Ability to balance creative excellence with business objectives and client needs.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with executive presence.
  • Proven success leading and inspiring high‑performing creative teams.
  • Collaborative, ego‑free leadership style that builds trust across departments.
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and executional levels as needed.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience leading influencer or creator‑led campaigns.
  • Familiarity with motion, film production, and emerging digital formats.
  • Background in lifestyle, entertainment, tech, or food & beverage categories.
  • Comfort with AI‑driven creative tools and Adobe Creative Suite.
