Our Team & Success | Gameday Social is a South Dakota based fashion brand- for women, by women. Founded by Jael Thorpe in 2021, and an officially certified woman owned company, we aim to "elevate the social fan experience through licensed collaborations." We have grown rapidly through innovative design, outstanding quality and developing key retailer and licensing relationships across the country. 



Role Overview

Our Graphic Designers play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of Gameday Social across all channels. This position is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented designer who can transform ideas into compelling visuals that resonate with fans and embody our brand. From concept through production, you'll bring designs to life that inspire pride, fandom, and connection. Key Responsibilities

1. Garment Design

  • Create original, trend-driven artwork and graphics for apparel and merchandise that align with Gameday Social's brand aesthetic.

2. Marketing Material Development

  • Design impactful marketing collateral—flyers, brochures, ads, and promotional materials—for both digital and print channels.

3. Digital Platform Design

  • Develop engaging visual content for our websites, mobile platforms, and digital campaigns to enhance user experience and brand presence.

4. Social Media Content Creation

  • Produce eye-catching graphics, animations, and visual assets optimized for social media to drive engagement and community growth.

5. Brand Consistency

  • Ensure every design adheres to Gameday Social's brand guidelines, voice, and visual standards across all touchpoints.

6. Creative Conception & Execution

  • Brainstorm, conceptualize, and execute high-quality creative ideas from initial sketch to production-ready files.

7. Collaboration

  • Partner closely with the Design and Marketing teams to understand project goals, incorporate feedback, and deliver assets on time.

8. Asset Management

  • Organize and maintain a structured library of digital design files and brand assets.

9. Trend Awareness

  • Stay ahead of design, fashion, and cultural trends to continually elevate Gameday Social's creative direction.



Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: Proven professional design experience with a portfolio showcasing strong work across digital and print mediums. Garment or apparel design experience is REQUIRED.
  • Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Preferably someone with Screenprint and Embroidery production art experience, rather than Fashion.
