Job Summary
The Communications Pro Bono role will focus primarily on spreading the positive news of UniversalGiving®’s mission. This position is tailored to a professional who wants to give back special skills and has the right degree, profession, or experience for this role.

Responsibilities
- Update and maintain our Communications Plan and PMT (Project Management Tool)
- Create and cultivate relationships with journalists, bloggers, and social media influencers to cover topics such as Tech for Good, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Global Philanthropy, Global Volunteering, CSR, and Volunteering for Health.
- Update and utilize our proprietary, customized Salesforce CRM to track relationships.
- Craft and update outreach communication templates.
- Track all placements using our Communications systems.
- Prepare for the CEO’s speaking engagements, conferences, and events.
- Expand UniversalGiving®’s reach and impact locally and globally.
- Take on special projects, new responsibilities, and supervise others in Communications with proven success and a positive attitude.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in marketing or communications.
- Strong command of marketing and communications principles and the ability to implement them creatively.
- Proven experience with digital marketing, including social media.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical attention to detail and commitment to excellence, a core value.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace tools (some training provided).
- Prior experience with Salesforce is a plus.
