The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Personal Lines Marketer to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Uniondale, NY. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities:
Review insurance applications, gather necessary information about the applicant and the insured property or vehicle.
Analyze risk factors.
Educate customers on the benefits and features of coverages and products
Present quotations, spreadsheets, schedules of insurance and proposals to clients.
Interact and create relationships with producers, and carriers

Qualifications:
High School or college degree 
NY Insurance knowledge
Independent usage and understanding of manual rating, eligibility and guidelines
Knowledge of specific carrier software to calculate premiums
Knowledge of excel a must
Ability to maintain detail records and explain rating decisions
Knowledge of HNW markets- Middle Markets carriers, Travelers, Progressive
Knowledge of Flood, Workers Compensation and Builders Risk insurance

Salary: $60,000- $100,000/year
