VICE PRESIDENT, PRODUCT & BUSINESS UNIT MARKETING ABOUT YOU Are you a bold, visionary creative leader ready to shape the future of an iconic brand? As Vice President of Creative and Art Services, you’ll lead and oversee the product development strategy and execution within the organization. You will drive the creation and delivery of innovative products from concept to market, ensuring they align with Josten’s strategic goals, customer needs, and industry trends. You will work closely with other departments including engineering, marketing, sales, finance and operations to ensure product success and continuous improvement. As a leader, you will define and execute the direction and annual marketing plans for consumer-focused marketing growth strategies for the scholastic, college and mascot shop business units. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive solutions, marketing materials, and campaigns to drive consumer awareness and engagement around our product offerings and marketing initiatives, ultimately driving increased yearbook copies, ads, and engagement, ultimately leading to increased revenue and profits. This executive will provide leadership, vision, and direction, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.

YOU WILL

Define and execute enterprise-wide product strategy.

Lead cross‑functional collaboration to align merchandising, development, pricing, and lifecycle planning with market trends and consumer insights.

Drive business unit marketing strategy.

Develop and implement omnichannel, segment‑specific marketing plans that deliver measurable growth in engagement, ad revenue, and yearbook sales.

Lead go‑to‑market and product lifecycle planning.

Oversee SKU rationalization, seasonal strategies, and site merchandising tactics that improve shopability and maximize profit.

Leverage insights and white space analysis.

Identify new product and account growth opportunities using internal data, B2B/B2C research, and competitive analysis.

Collaborate to build site and promotional calendar.

Align with Sales, Creative, and Digital Marketing to drive customer acquisition, conversion, and cross‑channel performance.

Advance digital transformation efforts.

Partner with business unit leaders to accelerate personalization, cross‑channel attribution, and marketing ROI measurement.

Own P&L and product contribution margin.

Manage all controllable expenses, forecast against leading indicators, and take corrective actions to meet business goals.

Create and champion a customer‑first culture.

Embed digital thinking across the organization and lead transformation with strong executive influence.

Inspire and develop a high‑performing team.

Hire, mentor, and lead a team of Directors, Senior Managers, and cross‑functional partners aligned to shared KPIs.

YOU HAVE

Extensive leadership experience.

15+ years in merchandising, retail, wholesale, or omni‑channel product roles—fashion or consumer goods experience preferred.

Proven product and marketing acumen.

Expertise building and launching products across multiple channels, using customer insights to inform strategy.

P&L ownership and financial rigor.

Skilled in managing contribution margin, leading indicator KPIs, and budget performance at scale.

Vision and adaptability.

Ability to set long‑range strategic direction while adjusting to real‑time trends and business priorities.

Cross‑functional collaboration.

Comfortable influencing across Marketing, Creative, Sourcing, Finance, and senior executives.

Digital‑first thinking.

Strong grasp of digital merchandising, site optimization, data attribution, and personalization.

Marketing leadership excellence.

Experience leading high‑impact teams that drive paid/earned media, demand gen, and acquisition marketing.

Executive presence.

Confident communicator and decision‑maker with the ability to advocate, influence, and lead change.

The salary range is $200,000 to $230,000 with annual bonus eligibility.
