Position Summary The Director of Marketing leads and executes the full marketing strategy for a fast-growing telemedicine organization. This role is responsible for driving qualified demand through ownership of MQL targets, MQL→SQL conversion, and marketing’s contribution to the revenue pipeline.

In addition to overseeing all marketing operations, the Director is directly responsible for producing, editing, and approving content across all channels, ensuring exceptional quality, clarity, and alignment with brand and compliance standards. This position also manages the external marketing and PR vendor relationship and oversees all newsletters, ABM campaigns, and multi-channel content distribution.

Supervisory Responsibilities Oversees the Marketing Department, internal staff, and external agency partners.

Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Leadership & Demand Generation

Own the marketing strategy, quarterly plans, and execution required to meet organizational growth goals.

Serve as the accountable owner for MQL volume, MQL-to-SQL conversion, and pipeline contribution.

Develop integrated content + channel plans based on specialty capacity, target personas, and ABM strategy.

Establish marketing KPIs, dashboards, and consistent reporting to senior leadership.

The Director is expected to personally produce, proof, refine, and approve major content assets.

Responsibilities include:

Writing and editing content (emails, nurture campaigns, case studies, landing pages, web copy, social posts, brochures, thought leadership, newsletters, scripts, etc.).

Leading the content calendar for outbound, inbound, and ABM campaigns.

Ensuring content aligns with telemedicine positioning, clinical accuracy, regulatory requirements, and brand standards.

Overseeing distribution across email, LinkedIn, programmatic ABM, website, video platforms, event channels, and PR.

Newsletter Ownership

Develop monthly and quarterly newsletters for multiple audiences (internal, prospects, partners, clinical recruiting).

Oversee editorial calendars, content sourcing, writing, layout, and performance reporting.

3. Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Strategy & Execution

Own ABM segmentation, content mapping, creative rotation, and audience refreshing.

Manage programmatic and LinkedIn ABM campaigns, including frequency caps, impressions, and attribution reporting.

Ensure coordination with Sales and SDR teams to strengthen handoffs and improve SQL rates.

4. Vendor, PR, and Agency Management

Act as primary liaison to external marketing, PR, and media vendors.

Produce and deliver clear briefs and scopes of work; review all output for quality and accuracy.

Conduct weekly/bi-weekly reviews to monitor performance, align on campaigns, and ensure measurable ROI.

Plan and manage multi‑channel campaigns (SEO, SEM, paid social, ABM, email marketing, PR).

Oversee testing and optimization of messaging, landing pages, CTAs, and conversion paths.

Maintain strict brand consistency across all outbound communication.

Manage website content, updates, design optimization, and analytics.

Support Sales with content, collateral, battle cards, proposal materials, and specialty-driven messaging.

Partner with Operations, Clinical Services, and Compliance to ensure accuracy and HIPAA/HITECH alignment.

Produce recruitment marketing content and campaigns for physician staffing.

Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).

Experience

7+ years progressive marketing experience, including 2+ years leadership.

Strong writing and editing background required.

Experience producing newsletters, long-form content, and multi-channel campaigns.

Healthcare or telemedicine experience strongly preferred.

Proven success driving MQL and SQL performance.

Skill Set Requirements

Primarily remote with 20% travel for planning, conferences, or vendor visits.

Must be able to lift 15 pounds.

The pay range for this role is:

120,000 - 185,000 USD per year (Eagle Telemedicine 280 Interstate North Circle SE Unit 600)
